About the role

• Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for managing CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments at UXBERT Labs. Collaborating with teams on application automation and monitoring systems in a hybrid workplace.

Responsibilities

• Manage CI/CD pipelines for Node.js and React-based applications. Solid understanding of Github and Bitbucket pipelines and development staging, production, and dev setups, including databases, development environments
• Automate deployments to GCP (Netlify or High available hosted app platforms)
• Monitor system health and security, respond to alerts and incidents. Solid experience with New Relic, Datadog and APM setting up APM cadence, APM alerts, and rules and policies for support and disaster management
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate using Kubernetes (optional)
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Ability to learn fast, understand the world of LLM, complex CI/CD setups in the future, such as AI machine learning and AI coding
• Excellent experience of cloud-based vpc and networking
• Excellent experience working on Kubernetes clusters (GKE/AKS)

Requirements

• 6+ years of DevOps experience across cloud platforms. Engineering background in PHP or a good programming background would be beneficial and solid JavaScript or Python - must have a good programming background
• Proficiency with GCP and AWS (must have experience in both). Must be solid in CDNs, CloudFlare, configuration of complex caching in Redis and more. GCP certified would be very, very advantageous as Saudi prefer to work with GCP
• Understanding of database setup, high scaling, high traffic sites in CloudFlare and without - complex setups of database optimisation, DFD, migration
• VPC and networking within load balancing, orchestration
• Experience with Vercel for front-end deployment workflows
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation scripting. Solid at quickly setting up servers in Node.js, whitelisting IPs and providing Docker and secure environments for developers, production and testers
• Familiarity with Node.js environments, Linux, and monitoring tools
