About the role
- Senior DevOps Engineer scaling infrastructure for FOX's consumer-facing applications with Amazon EKS and GitOps workflows. Collaborating across teams to ensure reliable operations during major events.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve our Kubernetes infrastructure, with a heavy focus on Amazon EKS
- Design and implement GitOps pipelines using ArgoCD
- Support production operations, including on-call responsibilities (on a rotation, especially during major live events)
- Collaborate with API teams (India Tech team), identity services, and web app engineers
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring across cloud environments
- Drive infrastructure as code and self-service capabilities across the platform
- Ensure high reliability and performance of systems during large-scale events
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Amazon EKS, including architecture, scaling, and security best practices
- Hands-on experience with ArgoCD and GitOps workflows
- Strong background in managing production Kubernetes environments
- Proficient in Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in high-pressure, high-stakes environments
- Experience supporting CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and alerting tools
- Ability to work cross-functionally across remote teams and time zones
