About the role

  • Graphic Designer leading visual development of product packaging for skincare. Design cartons, labels, and digital materials while collaborating with suppliers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop primary and secondary packaging for new and existing skincare products (tubes, bottles, cartons, labels, kits, etc.)
  • Create 2D renderings for new products to help gain approvals
  • Partner with mechanical production artist and review their work
  • Collaborate with suppliers and print vendors to ensure vision is met
  • Maintain and evolve packaging guidelines and templates in line with brand standards
  • Ensure packaging complies with regulatory, legal, and sustainability requirements
  • Design digital assets including banners, PDP graphics, and media.
  • Support the creative team with other ad hoc design projects as needed
  • Photoshop imagery as needed to work best within layouts.
  • Maintain organized design files, templates, and digital asset libraries
  • Handle internal and external file and image requests, ensuring correct usage and quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver assets on time
  • Ensure all visual assets meet brand standards and technical requirements (print and digital)

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in packaging design, preferably in the skincare, beauty, or consumer goods industries
  • Has strong understanding for print processes and materials
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or related field
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in typography, and layout design
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Familiarity with print production, color management, and packaging materials
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
  • Passion for design, beauty or wellness industries
