- Designing and implementing data lakes, data warehouses/lakehouses, ELT processes, streaming analytics, and MLOps
- Cloud-based data engineering to enable data-driven businesses of the future
- Sharing knowledge and mentoring within the team
Requirements
- Degree or vocational training in IT, or career changers with relevant IT experience
- Several years of practical experience in data engineering (building ELT pipelines, data warehousing, streaming analytics)
- Experience using and deploying data services on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, ...)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code frameworks such as Terraform is a plus
- Knowledge of data science and machine learning is a plus
- Experience in business intelligence and data warehousing
- Strong affinity for modern IT technologies
- Very good German language skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites
