About the role

  • Senior Controller in Marketing & Sales at Schäfer Shop, focusing on strategic consulting and reporting. Collaborating across departments to optimize marketing efficiency in Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Controlling, steering & strategic consulting: You act as the central interface between the operational marketing areas (omnichannel), controlling, management and executive leadership.
  • Analyses & reporting in marketing and sales controlling: You prepare regular evaluations and analyses on the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing activities.
  • Process and report optimization in controlling: With your open eye for change and your drive to try new approaches, you drive the standardization and further development of processes and reports.
  • Steering & decision support: You recognize connections in the broader context and know when it makes sense to dive deeper into the details.
  • Sparring partner & challenger: As a critical sparring partner you demand clear objectives for planned activities and question existing procedures.

Requirements

  • A degree in business administration or a comparable qualification
  • Business-fluent German and very good written and spoken English
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; ideally experience with SAP and BI tools such as Power BI or Qlik
  • You rely on your own results and remain independent in your analysis
  • You are opportunity-oriented, look beyond the obvious, identify optimization potentials and always keep an eye on the big picture, knowing when to go into detail where it matters
  • You act in a customer- and service-oriented manner, recognize the needs of other departments and adapt flexibly – presenting yourself calmly and dynamically, promoting acceptance and understanding, thereby building trust in an international, independent work environment.
