About the role
- Cloud Ops Engineer responsible for establishing and maintaining infrastructure automation tooling at ServiceChannel. Working with a cross-functional team to deliver scalable automation solutions for cloud-based infrastructure needs.
Responsibilities
- Setup and maintain an organized repository of infrastructure code.
- Manage infrastructure deployments and configuration updates across Production client-facing environments as well as non-production engineering environments.
- Own, extend and maintain the Azure based infrastructure hosting the Cloud Ops tools and ensure we have scalable, global infrastructure to support our product and development team needs
- Extend infrastructure-as-code scripts for new application initiatives
- Take ownership of core automation tools such as Azure Devops Pipelines, Azure Bicep/ARM templates, Ansible playbooks, Terraform, and extend/maintain as needed
- Ensure the infrastructure is secure, recoverable (disaster, data) and maintained (security patches, tool upgrades, etc.) and highly automated
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based Git hosting providers and branch management and merging.
- Experience with Powershell scripting
- Experience with Azure Devops
- Experience with Terraform and Ansible
- Ability to provide leadership in a team environment to meet goals and deadlines
- Prior experience with security tools and code signing is helpful
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering and/or equivalent industry experience is preferred
