About the role

• Backend Engineer developing e-commerce solutions for retailers at SOFTETA. Collaborating on server-side applications and system architecture in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and Cloud Run Functions;
• Create and support core libraries for microservices.
• Evaluate systems architecture and recommend improvements.
• Provide technical guidance in software design with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with teams including product, DevOps, and QA.
• Continuously monitor system performance and address bottlenecks.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of hands-on backend software development experience;
• In-depth knowledge of Node.js and relevant server-side frameworks;
• Familiarity with Cloud Run Functions;
• Experience in hosting scalable applications on GCP;
• Proficiency in SaaS and Terraform is a plus;
• Strong understanding of document databases;
• Excellent skills in designing and implementing data flows.
