About the role
- Work closely with the local NIRA Engineering team and broader APAC Engineering to increase platform scale
- Expand the platform to support multiple financial products and underlying instruments
- Strengthen fraud detection and prevention systems
- Collaborate with product, credit/finance, compliance, support and analytics teams
- Shape strategy for infrastructure and product roadmap; deliver technical projects with outsized impact
- Role based in Bengaluru office with potential to work 1–2 days from home after onboarding
Requirements
- Strong experience using Java (ideally .net too)
- Demonstrated experience working in AWS-native environments (DynamoDB, Athena, Lambda)
- Experience with scaled technical solutions and improving platform scalability
- Clear communicator with ability to articulate technical solutions and collaborate globally
- Product Engineer mentality — ownership of solutions end-to-end
