Technical Lead designing and implementing Java, AWS, and AI solutions for Datacom. Act as trusted advisor to clients, integrating AI capabilities into applications deployed on AWS.
About the role
- Improve and maintain internal APIs and supplier integrations
- Be involved in product lifecycle from ideation to deployment to maintenance
- Build robust and scalable backend solutions
- Work closely with Product and Reseller teams to build the underlying platform powering customer-facing APIs
- Act as the driving force behind backend tasks in a multidisciplinary team
- Ensure API and integration security and adherence to authentication standards
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working as a Senior Backend Developer
- Strong computer science foundations, mostly working in distributed systems
- Extensive experience writing scalable APIs using REST architecture
- Extensive experience designing event driven architectures using queues, streaming, etc.
- Experience writing code in Golang programming language
- Experience working in AWS cloud environment
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Experience in older technologies such as CLIs, SOAP services, FTP, etc.
- Experience working in a multicultural, multidisciplinary environment
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Familiar with API and WebApps security standards and authentication methods (API key, JWT token, OAuth 2.0, etc.)
- Preferred: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent
- Preferred: Experience in Java, .NET or Javascript
- Preferred: Experience writing IaC scripts and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Preferred: Familiar with Frontend technologies such as Vue.js or React.js
- Preferred: Experience communicating with stakeholders and/or customers
- Preferred: Experience integrating with telecom platforms (OCS, BSS, PGW, PCRF) and knowledge of mobile networks and telephony
