About the role

• Senior .NET Developer at Pointr, creating scalable and high-performance microservices for the Indoor Mapping platform. Seeking experienced professionals with a passion for technology and innovation.

Responsibilities

• We are looking for a passionate .NET Developer who can/has:
• Proficiency in C# and .NET Core with 4+ years of experience
• Proficiency with ORM, such as Entity Framework, and also modern NoSQL datastores
• Understanding of API development best practices with scalability, security, and RESTful concepts
• Proficiency in designing and architecting scalable and high-performance microservices
• Familiarity with in-memory cache systems such as Redis, Memcached, etc
• Familiarity with web technologies, including HTTP, AJAX, and JavaScript
• Proficiency in version control systems such as GIT, branching, hotfixing, etc
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, SOLID principles, and object-oriented programming concepts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in either Computer Science or a relevant Engineering field from top universities (we only accept applications from Engineers).
• 5+ years of experience in the relevant field.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English (we are a global team).
• Strong sense of personal accountability, self-disciplined.
• Startup experience or should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high agility.
• Willingness and passion for going the extra mile (e.g., work on the weekend to deliver a demo or stay online to troubleshoot a critical issue. This is not a role for you if you are looking to work 9 to 5 within your comfort zone.)
