About the role

  • Negotiate with customers and internal clients to obtain deal closure
  • Formulate effective negotiation strategies based on knowledge of business and law
  • Provide advice and counsel to various functional areas of the business
  • Draft, review and advise on contract drafts
  • Provide guidance on compliance with federal government contracting requirements
  • Manage and support government subcontracts
  • Support defense contracting with international entities
  • Perform administrative work related to managing contracts

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate in Law
  • Minimum of 5 years in transactional work as an attorney
  • Excellent contract drafting skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Effective communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to solve complex contracting issues
  • Active member of the bar of at least one US state
  • Fluency in English - written & verbal
