About the role
- Apply the latest machine learning and artificial intelligence technology from across industries, academia, and government
- Build, train and productionize cutting-edge machine learning models
- Develop data engineering pipelines for large aerospace data sets
- Implement software development best practices to enable product deployment
- Analyze aircraft, maintenance, training, and engineering design data to increase operational efficiency and safety
- Develop innovative, nonstandard advanced machine learning algorithms for fleet optimization, advanced health management, and pilot training
- Work within a cross-functional team to develop engineering perception and prediction solutions for aerospace applications
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with software development using either Java, C++, or Python
- 3+ years of experience working in the field of Artificial Intelligence including Machine Learning
- Knowledge of machine learning model development and evaluation
- Experience with software development best practices
- Strong technical skills and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to collaborate and innovate in an Agile software development environment
- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other technical degree (preferred)
- Travel: 10% up to potentially 20%
- Must meet export control compliance requirements — must be a "U.S. Person" (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
