About the role

  • Senior Communications Advisor promoting Desjardins projects and programs through effective communication strategies. Leading development projects while managing social media presence and recommending business strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Help promote the organization’s projects, policies, and programs by designing and developing communications
  • Establish and promote the organization’s online brand image by creating, managing, and updating social and digital media communications
  • Serve as social media community manager
  • Lead and influence development projects and complex, highly innovative strategic initiatives
  • Draft texts that represent the organization's position
  • Develop and recommend strategic directions and business positions
  • Coordinate with stakeholders working in a wide range of other fields
  • Serve as expert advisor and subject matter expert for senior management and decision-making bodies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
