Responsibilities
Actively posting in the sub-ledger (accounts payable and accounts receivable)
Key support in preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements under HGB
Preparation of VAT advance returns
Balance sheet analysis and account reconciliations
Requirements
Completed training as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellter) with further qualification such as Fachwirt, certified balance sheet accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter), tax specialist (Steuerfachwirt) or bookkeeper
Initial experience in team leadership is desirable
Very good knowledge of tax law and HGB
Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, and good English skills
Relevant experience with SAP
Strong self-organization and excellent time management
Numerical orientation, accuracy and reliability are expected
