Responsibilities
- Actively posting in the sub-ledger (accounts payable and accounts receivable)
- Key support in preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements under HGB
- Preparation of VAT advance returns
- Balance sheet analysis and account reconciliations
Requirements
- Completed training as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellter) with further qualification such as Fachwirt, certified balance sheet accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter), tax specialist (Steuerfachwirt) or bookkeeper
- Initial experience in team leadership is desirable
- Very good knowledge of tax law and HGB
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, and good English skills
- Relevant experience with SAP
- Strong self-organization and excellent time management
- Numerical orientation, accuracy and reliability are expected
