About the role

  • Actively posting in the sub-ledger (accounts payable and accounts receivable)
  • Key support in preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements under HGB
  • Preparation of VAT advance returns
  • Balance sheet analysis and account reconciliations

Requirements

  • Completed training as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellter) with further qualification such as Fachwirt, certified balance sheet accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter), tax specialist (Steuerfachwirt) or bookkeeper
  • Initial experience in team leadership is desirable
  • Very good knowledge of tax law and HGB
  • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, and good English skills
  • Relevant experience with SAP
  • Strong self-organization and excellent time management
  • Numerical orientation, accuracy and reliability are expected
