About the role
- Validate functional aspects of ML models and their performance at scale
- Validate scaling aspects of model performance in real-world applications
- Test ML models that process geospatial, satellite imagery, and weather data
- Design and execute test strategies for model deployments at scale
- Develop and maintain backend automation tests (restassured, Java, Python, pytest)
- Perform performance and scalability testing and analysis
- Collaborate with the Platform ML team to deploy and validate models in production
- Review deployment, orchestration, CI/CD, and database interactions relevant to model performance
Requirements
- Experience 6-8 years in Testing + Automation
- Good with testing fundamentals and best practises
- Experience in ML application testing is desired
- Exposure to usage of prompt-based editor (good to have)
- Experience in Backend Automation (restassured-java or python-pytest)
- Proficient in coding (Java and/or Python) and willing to learn other languages
- Good understanding of backend system design and exposure to databases (SQL/NoSQL), at least one mandatory
- Knowledge of application deployment and underlying orchestration
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (good to have)
- Exposure to performance testing (must have)
- Exposure to prompt-based IDE like Cursor (good to have)
