About the role

  • Steer and execute test strategies that bridge gaps between teams and disciplines
  • Champion TDD (Test-Driven Development) and modern quality practices across engineering teams
  • Build scalable functional quality automation solutions (Selenium, Playwright, API frameworks)
  • Drive non-functional testing strategies and tooling in support of security, accessibility, and performance
  • Support release operational readiness: validate deployment pipelines, rollback strategies, and post-release monitoring
  • Review designs and deployment models to ensure automated quality assurance
  • Establish and manage SLOs/SLAs, leveraging automated test evidence
  • Collaborate with DevSecOps to enhance CI/CD pipelines, automated validation, and operational readiness
  • Synthesize defects, client feedback, and system data and steer continuous learning on quality and system improvements
  • Develop test data management integrations and tooling in support of automated testing

Requirements

  • 8+ years in moderate-to-large software engineering organizations
  • 8+ years in software/platform quality assurance, with hands-on experience in functional test automation (Selenium, Playwright, API frameworks)
  • 6+ years in a SDET role
  • 5+ years in non-functional testing and tooling (Security, Accessibility, and Performance)
  • Proficiency in Java and/or Python
  • Demonstrated experience with TDD and scaling test automation across teams
  • Familiarity with release management, operational readiness, and test evidence reporting
  • Strong background in test data management
