About the role
- SAP product configurator specialist for SEW-EURODRIVE improving the SAP variant configuration. Collaborate on new products and enhancements while ensuring seamless integration in web-based applications.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintenance of SEW‑EURODRIVE's product configurator based on SAP Variant Configuration (SAP LO‑VC & SAP SSC)
- Extend the product configurator to include new products and product variants, and support error analysis and resolution
- Analyze and improve model representations and processing workflows for existing products and product variants
- Further develop and optimize the product configurator with respect to usability, clarity, and user-friendliness
- Develop modeling tools and the Configuration Lifecycle Management of the future
- Define new application scenarios for the product configurator within SEW‑EURODRIVE processes and support integration into additional SAP modules and web-based applications
Requirements
- Degree in (Business) Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
- Deep expertise in SAP Variant Configuration and several years of relevant professional experience
- Ideally familiarity with Java-based applications (e.g., SCE, IPC, SSC) and SAP cloud applications such as CPS and SSC
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Very good German and English language skills
