About the role

SAP Consultant focusing on digital transformation in energy sector at sparqs solutions. Collaborating and consulting on innovative technologies and solutions for clients in the energy industry.

Responsibilities

Advise our clients in the energy sector on innovative technologies and solutions, ideally with consulting focus areas in energy data management, switching processes, or billing and tariffing.
Execute and manage SAP projects in IS‑U and S/4HANA (in particular SAP UC4G), from concept and planning through Go‑Live support.
Take responsibility for developing strategies for process optimization and for knowledge transfer to clients.
Design and support the integration of modern SaaS solutions into complex SAP environments.
Responsible for testing, quality assurance, and rollout across multiple tenants or clients, and advising on standardization and scaling of the solution.
Contribute to and/or lead interdisciplinary project teams, working closely with other teams.
Deliver trainings and workshops at our clients' sites.

Minimum of five years' experience as a consultant in SAP IS‑U and SAP S/4HANA.
Broad knowledge of energy industry processes, e.g., energy trading and portfolio management, energy sales, billing, contract management, contract account ledger, customer service, receivables management, or grid operations.
Extensive experience applying agile methods (Scrum, SAFe) in digital projects, as well as experience with BizDevOps and cross‑functional teams.
Ideally, ABAP and Fiori skills.
Legal and regulatory knowledge in the energy sector.
Strong organizational skills and high emotional intelligence.
Excellent communication skills and confidence in leading workshops and giving presentations.
Business‑fluent German (C1) and fluent English.
