- Ensure implementation of Corporate Safety Programs, monitoring the execution of actions;
- Coordinate hazard and consequence control systems and risk analysis studies to prevent accidents and minimize their effects;
- Coordinate and perform safety audits and inspections of facilities to identify improvement opportunities and mitigation actions for detected non-conformities;
- Implement actions to comply with SSMAS legal requirements;
- Coordinate SSMAS management review meetings;
- Implement actions to improve SSMAS management;
- Participate in reviews of safety and operational procedures;
- Investigate accidents and propose preventive actions;
- Support various mandatory legal trainings;
- Support general permitting and licensing processes;
- Monitor progress in meeting indicator targets.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering with postgraduate specialization in Occupational Safety Engineering;
- Technical qualification in Occupational Safety or Environmental Management is desirable;
- Prior experience in the role is desirable.
- Specific knowledge:
- Activities in risk management and process safety;
- Implementation of Safety Management Programs;
- Incident and accident investigations;
- Emergency response plans and drills;
- Legal safety requirements applicable to the company's business;
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
