About the role
- Roofing Production Manager overseeing daily roofing operations for a family-owned company. Managing subcontractor crews, coordinating materials, and ensuring safety and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily roofing operations and ensure jobs stay on schedule and on budget.
- Manage subcontractor crews and act as their main point of contact.
- Coordinate materials, deliveries, and equipment rentals to keep projects moving smoothly.
- Handle change orders, troubleshoot issues, and communicate with the Project Manager.
- Attend bi-weekly goal-setting and production meetings.
- Enforce safety, quality, and compliance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.
- Develop and improve production processes for greater efficiency.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
- Roofing or construction experience preferred—but we’ll train the right person!
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Comfortable managing people and solving problems on the fly
- Able to lift 80 lbs and climb on roofs
- Tech-savvy enough to use a smartphone and basic computer systems
- Dependable, self-motivated, and ready to grow with the company
- Must pass a drug and background check
