Responsibilities
- Maintain and maximize profitable relationships with personal lines clients
- Grow the book of business through new client sales
- Identify, qualify, and develop personal insurance opportunities
- Foster and maintain relationships with clients and prospects
- Anticipate and respond to existing client needs
- Actively prospect round accounts and solicit increases in existing client coverage
- Support and prepare clients for renewal and retention
Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty license in Indiana
- Strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations
- Proven track record of business-to-business sales success
- Strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills
- People-oriented, customer-focused, and professionally assertive
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to complete assignments without supervision
- Strong decision-making and communication skills
- Success with time management skills
- Technology and Computer proficiency including agency management systems
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
