About the role

  • Maintain and maximize profitable relationships with personal lines clients
  • Grow the book of business through new client sales
  • Identify, qualify, and develop personal insurance opportunities
  • Foster and maintain relationships with clients and prospects
  • Anticipate and respond to existing client needs
  • Actively prospect round accounts and solicit increases in existing client coverage
  • Support and prepare clients for renewal and retention

Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty license in Indiana
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations
  • Proven track record of business-to-business sales success
  • Strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills
  • People-oriented, customer-focused, and professionally assertive
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Ability to complete assignments without supervision
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills
  • Success with time management skills
  • Technology and Computer proficiency including agency management systems
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
