Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education in the specialty field or subject area in which they teach.
  • A minimum of an Associate Degree.
  • Three years of practical experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or related professionals.
  • Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Current license from the West Virginia Board of Respiratory Care.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in Respiratory Therapy.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Technical competence.
