About the role
- Bilingual QA Tester responsible for drafting test cases and executing test scripts in a hybrid setup. Working closely with financial services clients to ensure quality assurance standards.
Responsibilities
- Draft custom test cases and write test steps.
- Execute assigned test bed of scripts.
- Coordinate test case dependencies across workstreams.
- Record test execution and capture screenshots for evidence.
- Log defects and block test cases as necessary.
- Support defect triage and issue assignment.
- Execute ready-for-retest cases.
- Support test coordinators with test execution status and defect management.
- Support test account creation and conditioning.
- Identify the number of accounts and conditioning needs to fully support test cases for assigned features/functions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role.
- Bilingual French/English required.
- Must be based in Montreal.
- Experience with Fiserv is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
- Working knowledge of test management software (e.g., qTest, Zephyr) and SQL.
- Expertise with X-Ray, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
- Strong organizational skills.
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
