SanlamTest Engineer

About the role
- Design, execute, and improve automated test plans for Dustin's public/customer-facing web platforms
- Take end-to-end ownership of QA activities in a modern DevOps environment
- Plan, design, and execute automated and manual tests
- Support web teams in delivering products for customers and collaborate with developers and business stakeholders
- Understand requirements and translate them into high-quality QA test plans
- Continuously monitor process and product quality and drive improvements
- Collaborate within an international QA team and across Dustin to share progress and knowledge
Requirements
- Good QA experience in manual and automated testing
- Experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- API testing experience (Postman, Swagger)
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with Jira and GitLab
- Experience with databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree level of working and thinking (desired)
- Experience with Python (nice to have)
- Cloud knowledge such as AWS (nice to have)
- ISTQB certification (nice to have)
- Basic knowledge of DynamoDB (nice to have)
- Familiarity with code quality and analysis tools (SonarQube, SonarCloud) (nice to have)
- Experience or curiosity in AI (a plus)
- Required language: English
