About the role
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for Salesforce projects
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for Salesforce applications using Provar and Selenium
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to facilitate continuous testing and deployment
- Perform manual testing including functional, system integration, end-to-end, and regression testing
- Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Test custom Salesforce configurations, Apex, Visualforce pages, Flows, and Lightning components
- Validate Salesforce integration with other internal or external systems
- Ensure data migration and security settings are validated
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using Jira
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Report testing progress, results, and overall application quality to stakeholders
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and QA procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Quality Assurance role, with a strong focus on Salesforce testing
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud) and custom functionalities
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools Provar and Selenium and automation frameworks
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- In-depth manual testing skills: test case design, execution, exploratory testing, system integration, end-to-end, regression testing
- Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination and support
- Ability to test custom Salesforce configurations, Apex, Visualforce, Flows, and Lightning components
- Experience validating Salesforce integrations, data migration, and security settings
- Defect management experience using tools like Jira
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Nice to have: Salesforce certifications (Administrator or Platform Developer I)
- Nice to have: Familiarity with Apex, SOQL, SOSL
- Nice to have: Experience with API testing (REST/SOAP)
