About the role

  • Lead project design through technical reports, geotechnical calculations, analysis, and modeling
  • Provide design, construction observation, and finite element analysis for earth structures and foundations
  • Collaborate with structural engineers for complementary foundation designs
  • Evaluate soil and rock properties for heavy-lift foundations
  • Collect data, analyze slope stability, and manage groundwater
  • Prepare proposals including project budget, schedule, and management of subcontractor contracts

Requirements

  • 7+ years with an engineering consulting firm performing civil engineering work with a geotechnical focus in heavy civil design and construction
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering, or related field
  • Professional Engineering Certification (PE)
