About the role

  • Identify inefficiencies across the enterprise by collaborating with colleagues and leveraging analytics
  • Build internal applications, workflows, and automations that help teams work faster, reduce costs, and eliminate inefficiencies
  • Leverage modern data platforms like Snowflake and dbt alongside Sigma to turn BI into interactive, actionable applications
  • Examples: accounting automation, smart inventory management, invoice processing with AI
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify productivity bottlenecks and deliver measurable results
  • Ship workflows and end-to-end applications: pull clean data from models, power Sigma interfaces, and automate background workflows
  • Present work to stakeholders showcasing technical design and business impact
  • Own development of multiple production applications and establish a pipeline of productivity projects
  • Mentor others on best practices for using Sigma and workflow automation

Requirements

  • Strong foundation in data/analytics engineering (SQL, dbt, data modeling, and cloud data warehouses like Snowflake/Databricks)
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, JavaScript, SQL)
  • Familiarity with low-code/no-code platforms for workflow automation
  • Interest or experience in front-end design to build intuitive internal tools
  • Ability to quickly identify inefficiencies and build creative, scalable solutions.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Preferred: Hands-on experience with Sigma or similar tools that bridge BI and operational action
  • Preferred: Experience integrating APIs into workflows or applications
  • Preferred: Familiarity with DevOps practices for deploying and monitoring applications
  • Preferred: A passion for visualization design UI/UX
