Responsibilities
Design integration experiences for connecting external platforms and services, including configuration interfaces, API connection flows, and developer-focused tooling that make complex technical setup accessible
Create observability and reporting interfaces that help users understand AI performance, including conversation monitoring tools, test result dashboards, and quality metrics visualization
Design scenario testing workflows that enable teams to validate AI behavior systematically, including test creation, execution, and result analysis interfaces
Establish patterns for making technical data and system insights comprehensible to both technical and non-technical users
Contribute to our design system and establish UI/UX patterns that work across configuration-heavy and data-dense interfaces
Collaborate with co-located engineers in Bangalore to bridge technical concepts and ensure designs are implementable
Work with product managers across integrations and platform tooling to understand requirements and deliver designs iteratively
Prototype solutions to validate approaches before full implementation
Present design work to US-based design team for feedback and alignment with overall product vision
Participate in design critiques with senior designers who provide mentorship and guidance
Requirements
4-6 years of product design experience with a portfolio showcasing technical products, developer tools, configuration interfaces, or internal tooling
Technical aptitude and comfort with complex systems—you understand APIs, integrations, backend systems, and can design for technical users without oversimplifying
Ability to design for developer experience—making technical workflows clear and efficient while maintaining necessary functionality
Strong conceptual thinking with an ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into intuitive design solutions
Self-directed and productive—you can own an area while being receptive to mentorship and feedback from senior designers
Excellent communication skills—able to present and articulate design decisions to both local engineering teams and remote design teams
Collaborative mindset—comfortable working with PMs, engineers, and senior designers across time zones
Willingness for US time zone overlap—ability to attend design meetings and reviews with US-based team members
Eagerness for in-office collaboration—excited to work alongside co-located engineering and product teams in Bangalore
