About the role

  • Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to define analytics requirements for new features and enhancements across eCommerce and mobile experiences
  • Translate business questions and measurement goals into detailed tracking plans specifying event names, parameters, and data layer structure
  • Ensure accurate implementation of tracking plans through QA/testing and collaborate with development teams to resolve data quality issues
  • Work hands-on with in-house data products and analytics platforms to capture, structure, and analyze digital product performance data
  • Analyze clickstream, transaction, and engagement data to uncover root causes, identify experience enhancements, market opportunities, and solution gaps
  • Build and maintain reporting, dashboards, and workspaces to monitor KPIs such as conversion rate, retention, average order value, MAU/DAU, and customer lifetime value
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations and present them to digital product teams, leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Partner with vendors and agency partners to measure the impact of new features, A/B tests, merchandising changes, and customer experience improvements
  • Contribute to the strategic development and optimization of the eCommerce and mobile analytics tool stack (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics 4, mobile instrumentation)
  • Stay informed on industry trends in digital commerce, mobile UX, personalization, and marketing technology
  • Manage project timelines, requirements, and communications to ensure deliverables meet deadlines and quality standards

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
  • 3+ years in analytics or development, ideally in digital product or commerce
  • Experience gathering business and technical requirements for analytics instrumentation
  • Ability to translate requirements into tracking plans, data layer specifications, and implementation briefs
  • Familiarity with tag management systems, SDK-based event tracking, and event taxonomy design
  • Understanding of standard eCommerce and mobile app behavioral metrics (conversion funnels, retention, engagement)
  • Hands-on experience validating analytics implementations and troubleshooting data quality issues
  • Knowledge of SQL for event-level data analysis; Python or other scripting languages is a plus
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with product managers, engineers, and data teams
  • Preferred: experience with Adobe Launch or Google Tag Manager
  • Preferred: experience with Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio
  • Preferred: experience working in an agile development environment
  • Preferred: basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
