About the role
- Product Analyst joining the Performance team at American Family Insurance. Providing insights on profit and growth performance for Personal Lines products and collaborating with various departments.
Responsibilities
- Provide countrywide insights on the profit and growth performance of Personal Lines products
- Report directly to the Personal Lines Performance Senior Manager
- Work cross functionally within Product Management on a regular basis
- Design and build financial and operational models and tools
- Deliver operational insights to achieve key performance indicators
- Build and enhance resources using Excel, Tableau, Power BI
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of professional experience, ideally including work in Property & Casualty insurance preferred
- A bachelor’s degree and quantitative analytical knowledge is required; a graduate degree and/or CPCU designation is preferred, but not required
- Subject matter expertise in the areas of SQL, SAS, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI, and/or other programming/data query/reporting knowledge
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
