About the role

  • Procurement Specialist managing procurement operations and supplier relationships at Specialty Dental Brands. Collaborating across departments to enhance efficiency and support growing healthcare organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full procurement process—from requisition to delivery—ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
  • Provide procurement support for new acquisitions, rebrands, de novos, consolidations, and exits.
  • Recommend process and system improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Assist in developing and managing supplier relationships across our practices.
  • Support onboarding of users within SDB suppliers and ensure process compliance.
  • Analyze trends in industry demand and spending to support sourcing strategy development.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Track and manage urgent orders to ensure timely delivery.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • General understanding of dental supply purchasing preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with procurement or inventory management software (training provided).
  • Experience chairside in a dental setting is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
