About the role
- Preconstruction Project Manager coordinating renewable energy project development and execution from feasibility to construction. Liaising with multiple teams to ensure project success while managing timelines and risks.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for liaising with multiple Teams and Departments to support project’s successful development
- Attend project Kick-Off meetings, and receive new projects on behalf of the Pre-Construction Team
- Support the review of project information to understand project needs, risks and timelines
- Communicate with Project Team members on project maturity and risk/proposed mitigation strategies
- Participate in discussions on permitting issues to support acceleration discussions regarding design development
- Coordinate with Estimators and Development Team to establish team deliverables
- Provide feedback for M&A due diligence and ‘red flag’ memos
- Review and critique design information for buildability and possible operational issues
Requirements
- 4+ years professional experience in a Renewables Project Management role
- Excellent understanding of project cycle from feasibility, thru permitting, entitlements, design and utility processes, executing with EPC contract negotiations
- Strong familiarity with photovoltaic solar and energy storage components and associated technical standards
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Excel, Primavera P6, ProCore, Quickbase, and Microsoft Project
- Proficiency with PowerPoint and BlueBeam
