About the role

Responsibilities
- Assist the Sr PR Manager in the day-to-day management of client accounts, including scheduling, meeting preparation, and developing client reports.
- Support the drafting of client-facing communications, meeting agendas, and contact reports.
- Maintain organized client files and project documentation.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date media lists tailored to client needs across sports, entertainment, lifestyle, and business verticals.
- Assist in media outreach efforts, including preparing media kits, pitching stories, and coordinating interviews.
- Monitor media coverage for clients and relevant industry news, compiling daily/weekly clips.
- Cultivate relationships with junior journalists, bloggers, and influencers in target sectors.
- Draft and proofread press releases, media alerts, Q&As, fact sheets, social media content, and other PR materials under supervision.
- Support the planning and execution of PR campaigns, events, and activations (e.g., press conferences, product launches, athlete appearances).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in Public Relations, preferably within an agency setting.
- Prior experience or demonstrable passion for the sports and/or entertainment industries is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with the UAE media landscape and cultural nuances is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with PR monitoring tools, media databases, or social listening platforms is an advantage.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Arabic proficiency is a significant advantage.
