Responsibilities
You will collaborate with Engineering, Mobile Development, and Product teams to enhance both the web and mobile application experiences of our AI-powered cardiac care solution.
In this role, you will have ownership of building new backend and devOps features for our platform and also working closely with the Engineering lead in improving our current infrastructure.
You’ll help drive continuous care innovations and contribute to the quality of life improvements for patients around the world.
Your work will have a direct impact on improving patient care and business outcomes.
You will take full ownership of features specifically on the backend, from concept to deployment, with the freedom to solve problems your way, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Maintain high coding standards and practices to ensure code quality and maintainability.
Requirements
Must hold a valid work permit and be based in or around Montreal to work 2 days per week in the Montreal office.
3+ years of professional experience in developing and deploying highly scalable backend systems.
Strong Proficiency in using containerization tools like Docker.
Strong proficiency in Python, Java.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
Experience with AWS.
Experience building CI/CD pipelines with tools like CircleCI, GitHub Actions, etc.
Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL (Dynamodb) databases.
Experience designing and scaling backend systems on the cloud.
Familiarity with serverless technologies like AWS Lambda.
Proven ability to troubleshoot, debug, and solve complex issues.
Familiarity with engineering best practices such as design patterns and unit testing.
Strong communication and collaboration skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
