Responsibilities
Create and maintain process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) for machinery and plant systems
Support the design and layout of machinery such as heat pumps, chemical reactors, and auxiliary systems
Design, create, and maintain detailed technical drawings and schematics for all plant systems using CAD
Ensure all design documents and schematics are accurate, up-to-date, and comply with all relevant industry standards and regulations
Lead system integration and product portfolio consolidation to deliver efficient, customer-focused solutions
Develop prototypes, subsystems, and modules by translating application needs into technical requirements
Apply expertise in pipe and flange standards (ANSI, DIN, ISO) and advanced 3D tools for system modeling, collision analysis, virtual assembly, and optimization of cost, efficiency, and operation
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plant engineering, Energy Engineering or a similar field
minimum of 5 years of experience in System Engineering or System Design
solid hands-on skills and a commercial focus
knowledge in design, development, simulation, digitization, and validation of Thermal Management, Cooling, and Heating Systems
experience working in a matrix environment is beneficial
proven history of collaboration with external partners and off-shoring of design and development activities
Fluency in English
Proficient design skills in CAD systems and PDMs
able to structure and organize work efficiently and effectively
strong analytical skills, hands-on mentality
creativity and the ability to work independently
structured problem-solving and decision-making ability
experience with the design, simulation, verification, and validation of system solutions is considered a plus
