Responsibilities

• Create and maintain process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) for machinery and plant systems
• Support the design and layout of machinery such as heat pumps, chemical reactors, and auxiliary systems
• Design, create, and maintain detailed technical drawings and schematics for all plant systems using CAD
• Ensure all design documents and schematics are accurate, up-to-date, and comply with all relevant industry standards and regulations
• Lead system integration and product portfolio consolidation to deliver efficient, customer-focused solutions
• Develop prototypes, subsystems, and modules by translating application needs into technical requirements
• Apply expertise in pipe and flange standards (ANSI, DIN, ISO) and advanced 3D tools for system modeling, collision analysis, virtual assembly, and optimization of cost, efficiency, and operation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plant engineering, Energy Engineering or a similar field
• minimum of 5 years of experience in System Engineering or System Design
• solid hands-on skills and a commercial focus
• knowledge in design, development, simulation, digitization, and validation of Thermal Management, Cooling, and Heating Systems
• experience working in a matrix environment is beneficial
• proven history of collaboration with external partners and off-shoring of design and development activities
• Fluency in English
• Proficient design skills in CAD systems and PDMs
• able to structure and organize work efficiently and effectively
• strong analytical skills, hands-on mentality
• creativity and the ability to work independently
• structured problem-solving and decision-making ability
• experience with the design, simulation, verification, and validation of system solutions is considered a plus
