About the role
- Patient Consultant providing support and consultations for clients at Weight Doctors clinics. Collaborating with healthcare professionals and ensuring patient wellbeing throughout their treatment journey.
Responsibilities
- Provide first contact support to patients
- Carry out consultations; understanding the patients’ needs to share treatment recommendations
- Ensure patient wellbeing before, during and after their treatment
- Documentation and medical compliance; Treatment planning and coordination; Collaborate with nutritionists, doctors and surgeons before and after treatments; and Travel to clinic locations as required (Pretoria, Johannesburg, Cape Town) - approx. 1 day per week.
Requirements
- Proven customer service experience with both online and face-to-face interaction
- Background in nutrition, health sciences is beneficial
- Previous professional experience in the healthcare industry is preferred
- Native English speaker with excellent oral and written communication skills, additional language skills ideal
