About the role
- Outpatient Therapist providing individual, family, and group therapy in a community health setting. Supporting clients' mental health needs with a focus on promoting independence and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy
- Assist individuals in promoting independence to manage mental health needs and/or behavior problems
- Complete all paperwork within policy time frames
- Attend staff meetings and make referrals to community resources
- Participate in supervision and comply with state regulations
Requirements
- Licensed mental health clinician or master's level prepared candidate
- Individual and family therapy experience
- Knowledge of mental health systems and community resources
- Ability to intervene with agitated clients through non-physical interventions
- Clearances for Child Abuse, FBI and State Criminal, CPR and First Aid
