About the role

  • Occupational Therapist providing therapy services to children with developmental delays in New Mexico. Engaging with families and conducting assessments and treatment plans in hybrid settings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Occupational Therapy services to include evaluation and treatment to children ages birth to three with developmental delays and/or diagnosed conditions
  • Administer standardized assessment tests within their professional scope of practice
  • Develop appropriate and thorough recommendations
  • Present diagnostic findings completely and accurately
  • Write evaluation reports with technical accuracy
  • Develop theoretically sound plans describing objectives and procedures for treatment
  • Select appropriate stimulus materials and treatment modalities for age and ability of the child
  • Provide accurate and immediate feedback to the family

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
  • Licensure from the NM Board of Occupational Therapy
  • Knowledge and experience in the field of Occupational Therapy
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Windows
  • Proficient organizational and record keeping skills
  • Effective oral and written communication
  • Excellent interpersonal and teaming skills
  • Ability to train clients, family members and professionals
  • Exercise a high level of confidentiality
  • Have a valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation available during working hours
