Responsibilities
- Handle a mixed caseload of defendant fast-track and multi-track claims, including EL/PL
- Assist senior team members (Partner and Senior Associate) on high value complex cases
- Advise clients, including insurers and corporate clients, on liability, quantum, and litigation strategy
- Draft documents, prepare for court, and engage in settlement negotiations
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service delivery
- Stay updated on legal developments in catastrophic injury and insurance law
Requirements
- Newly qualified to experienced Solicitors, preferably 1 - 3 years PQE
- Demonstrable interest and prior experience in Employer’s Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL), and Personal Injury matters
- Experience handling defendant personal injury cases, either independently or in a supporting role to senior team members
- Previous experience within a defendant insurance law firm
- Proven ability to manage a personal caseload effectively
- A team player with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Desirable: Experience handling high value, complex personal injury cases
