About the role

  • Resolution and technical support for incidents/requests for Packet Core/Core nodes (analysis, troubleshooting and fixing issues on deployed systems)
  • End-to-end troubleshooting involving CMM & CMG, IMS & SDM (call flow and cloud infra)
  • Manage end-to-end fault incident and problem resolution ensuring compliance with SLA and OLA
  • Configure and maintain 5G SA Core Network; coordinate with project teams for design reviews and integration
  • Prepare, implement, and verify configurations for nodes/systems; document Methods of Procedure (MOP)
  • Root cause analysis and problem-solving with care teams; prepare final incident reports and submissions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (GDC, Care, Field, Customer) to resolve issues
  • Participate in CAB/CR meetings; prepare and validate MoPs and execute CRs with 100% FTR
  • Analyze performance-degraded KPIs and implement resolutions
  • Knowledge transfer and mentoring of team members
  • Integration of nodes and software updates of nodes
  • Automate daily preventive and repetitive tasks

Requirements

  • Any Bachelor's degree
  • 5 - 8+ years of experience (minimum 5 years) in Nokia working with 5G Core Nodes (AMF, SMF, UPF, NRF) and LTE Nodes – IMS & SDM nodes
  • Understanding call flows of 5G / LTE (Registration, Re-Registration, De-Registration, VoLTE Call, Break-in/Break-Out, Hand-over, roaming)
  • Excellent knowledge of LTE and 5G EPC / 5G Core architecture interfaces and protocols
  • Good understanding of service architecture concepts / Network Slicing
  • Experience troubleshooting CMM and CMG, IMS & SDM products and multi-domain network elements
  • Exposure to end-to-end troubleshooting (call flow and cloud infrastructure)
  • Preferable: Knowledge of Cloud Native Architecture, Microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, and containers
  • Preferable: Exposure in the IMS/SDM architecture with all the nodes
