About the role
- Internship in digital project management at Werder Bremen. Support planning and implementation of digital projects across the club.
Responsibilities
- Support in planning, implementing and managing digital projects across the entire club
- Work in interdisciplinary project teams — interfacing with almost all departments of the club
- Contribute to the implementation of our digital and AI strategy
- Gain initial insight into data-driven decision-making processes within the club — e.g., through analyses of fan behavior, campaigns, or internal KPIs
- Support in preparing, visualizing and interpreting data
- Conduct research on digital and data-driven trends in the sports and events sector
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business Informatics (Information Systems), Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field with a strong digital affinity
- Interest and curiosity for digital trends, with an agile and digital mindset
- Initial experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Python, SQL, or similar) is a plus — but not required
- Very good German and English language skills (written and spoken)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as an analytical and independent working style
