About the role

Responsibilities
- Manage capacity planning and execute filing schedules to meet regulatory deadlines.
- Participate in systems implementation and conduct comprehensive rate validation to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Perform external rate adequacy analysis and respond to Department of Insurance (DOI) objections.
- Develop project plans for special initiatives and provide mentorship to team.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with business units, product management, actuarial teams, enterprise product groups, systems personnel, and compliance areas.
- Provide strategic direction and guidance for supporting staff.
Requirements
- College degree in STEM related field.
- Associate Actuarial Credential preferred.
- Strong PC skills (MS Office) and programming skills (eg. SQL, SAS).
- 4+ years of quantitative analysis experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of insurance products and industry.
- Demonstrated ability in actuarial and quantitative analysis and statistical concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects.
