Responsibilities
Manage capacity planning and execute filing schedules to meet regulatory deadlines.
Participate in systems implementation and conduct comprehensive rate validation to ensure regulatory compliance.
Perform external rate adequacy analysis and respond to Department of Insurance (DOI) objections.
Develop project plans for special initiatives and provide mentorship to team.
Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with business units, product management, actuarial teams, enterprise product groups, systems personnel, and compliance areas.
Provide strategic direction and guidance for supporting staff.
Requirements
College degree in STEM related field.
Associate Actuarial Credential preferred.
Strong PC skills (MS Office) and programming skills (eg. SQL, SAS).
4+ years of quantitative analysis experience preferred.
Strong understanding of insurance products and industry.
Demonstrated ability in actuarial and quantitative analysis and statistical concepts.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects.
