About the role

  • Lead the accounting due diligence process for acquisitions
  • Oversee accounting system conversions
  • Ensure acquisitions are set up in accordance with HUB standards
  • Maintain strong partnerships with accounting, finance, IT, and operations leaders
  • Represent M&A Accounting as the primary contact
  • Monitor the acquisition pipeline and conversion calendar
  • Provide guidance on resolving reconciling items
  • Manage and develop team members within the Acquisition Accounting Integration Team

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience overseeing accounting or acquisition integration within an insurance brokerage environment including 4+ years in leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA or MBA is preferred
  • Strong project management skills
  • Effective communicator with the ability to adjust messaging
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing teams
