Responsibilities
- Work closely with the legal & compliance team, supporting management on various legal areas
- Assist in the management of local and international license processes
- Review and draft policies and procedures in various fields
- Manage interactions with external counsels
- Negotiate and handle contracts with business partners
- Draft corporate and shareholder documents
- Provide support on employment matters with potential cross-border elements
- Assist in IP matters
- Collaborate on compliance with anti-money laundering regulations
- Lead due diligence processes with service providers
- Contribute to adherence with GDPR and other applicable data protection laws
- Help develop and maintain legal and compliance processes
Requirements
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
- A law degree to provide a strong foundation in the field
- Good inclination for drafting precise legal documents
- A penchant for thinking beyond the ordinary
- Dedication to enhancing efficiency through continuous learning
- Willingness to take charge and drive initiatives
- Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player
- Training/competence in Estonian law is a plus
- Previous experience as an in-house legal professional, compliance specialist, or involvement with various legal domains simultaneously is a bonus
