About the role

Responsibilities
- Drive quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation
- Select suppliers through qualification processes
- Own supplier results, drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards
- Own supplier audits, ensuring compliance, and driving improvement plans where needed
- Works with the suppliers to support them in their continuous improvement processes as Corrective and Preventive Actions, FMEAs
- Provides informal guidance to new team members
- Utilizes technical expertise and judgement to solve problems
Requirements
- Electrical or System Engineer Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s))
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supplier quality engineering or related field
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Established project management skills
