About the role

  • Lead Software Engineer for PGIM Global Wealth focusing on full-stack applications and modernizing legacy platforms. Collaborating with diverse teams and guiding software development practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop .Net/SQL Server web-based applications along with third party software integration
  • Modernizing with future-ready scalable designs while supporting legacy platforms
  • Guiding teams on software standards and conducting code reviews
  • Working with stakeholders to convert complex business requirements into deliverables
  • Providing production support as needed
  • Collaborating with business and various functional and technology teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 10+ years’ experience in full-stack web development
  • Azure certifications a plus
  • High proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem
  • Experience with ASP.NET, MVC and Web APIs
  • Knowledge of Entity Framework
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI
  • Experience with MS SQL Server or other relational databases
  • Ability to design database tables, write complex SQL queries and optimize database performance
  • Experience with Fabric Medallion architecture
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Experience with React/Angular
  • Proficiency with TFS, Git and Git workflows
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. TFS, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
  • Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker
  • Experience with relational database design, microservices architecture and API
  • Strong understanding of design patterns and best practices
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud platform
