About the role
- Lead Software Engineer enhancing asset management technology at PNC. Focusing on API development and mentoring junior developers with a dynamic team in multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing scalable microservices using Spring boot with a strong focus on RESTful API development and integration
- Building dynamic front-end interfaces using the Angular Framework
- Developing, publishing and consuming secure APIs, supporting both synchronous and asynchronous integrations
- Collaborating with system integrators and downstream teams to ensure API contracts are well defined and documented (e.g..Swagger/Open API)
- Working with OnBase, OneSpan for document lifecycle management- from intake and classification to archival-ensuring signature ready documents are routed properly via automated workflows
- Overseeing vulnerability management tasks, ensuring secure code and compliance with internal security standards
- Collaborating across teams, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to architectural and coding standards
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
- Frontend: Angular (latest versions), responsive UI, API integration
- Backend: Java, Spring Boot, RESTful services API -Publish. Consume APIs, Oracle PL/SQL
- Workflow & Automation: Flowable (Enterprise), IBM BAW. Salesforce Flow
- Document & Signature tools: OneSpan, DocuSign, OnBase, E-Sign, Wet sign workflows
- Integration & Messaging: REST API(s), Kafka, data mapping and transformation
- DevOps & Platform: Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Docker, Red Hat OpenShift(OCP), SonarQube
- Compliance & Security: Audit ready workflows and securing coding
