About the role
- Lead Project Manager managing renewable energy projects including solar and energy storage. Conducting technical due diligence and overseeing project completion with a focus on client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Conduct technical due diligence, support construction monitoring and project completion monitoring on energy and infrastructure assets
- Manage project and client relationships
- Provide technical input and/or direction to multidisciplinary project teams
- Complete project work and deliverables on time and budget
- Develop client proposals for new opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Structural)
- 8+ years of related energy industry experience (consulting, project financing & technical due diligence)
- 8+ years of site-based experience in an engineering or managerial role on a utility-scale generation project (Renewable Generation, Solar, Energy Storage, Independent Engineering/Owner's Engineering)
- PE and/or PMP preferred
- Demonstrated experience coordinating and managing projects and multidisciplinary teams
- Understanding of key commercial contracts for project development
- Strong organizational skills
- Travel for onsite visits
