About the role

  • This position has the primary responsibility for leading a team of engineers in Asset Management ensuring that the goals of the business are met.
  • Specific responsibilities include: developing compliance driven transmission line and transmission substation programs and budgets, identifying process improvements, providing input to the development and review of all facility thermal ratings, developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with other functions, and managing and overseeing the day-to-day activities of the team.

Requirements

  • Requires a BS Engineering or BS Engineering Technology
  • An electrical engineering degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of related experience is required.
  • Experience in the technical, operational or engineering aspects of the electric utility industry and supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of NERC, ISO-NE, and NPCC standards
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team, applying effective leadership skills.
  • Strong background in process improvement.
