About the role

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 9 Business Analysts across multiple locations.
  • Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, feedback, and professional development.
  • Champion best practices in business analysis, ensuring consistency and quality across deliverables.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.
  • Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements and user stories.
  • Oversee prioritization of BAU and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with product goals.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of work items, managing resource allocation and workload balancing.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Product, Technology, and Commercial teams.
  • Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and reviews to elicit and validate requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, providing updates, insights, and recommendations.
  • Drive consistency in documentation, non-functional requirements, and analysis artefacts.
  • Promote the use of visual modelling tools (e.g., wireframes, workflows, use cases) to enhance understanding.
  • Contribute to the evolution of internal frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
  • Deliver onboarding and ongoing training for new and existing BAs.
  • Share domain knowledge and technical insights across the Technology function.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing and mentoring Business Analysts in a team of 8–12 people.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (SCRUM), backlog management, and DevOps principles.
  • Expertise in writing clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting artefacts.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, Excel, SQL, and wireframing tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholder expectations.
  • Background in software development or data modelling.
  • Experience working with distributed teams across geographies.
  • Experience with AI projects.
  • Familiarity with Passport and EMMA platforms.
  • Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent.
